A bonus performance comes with this series of workshops. Start by choosing one of three classes—either Jersey club, modern or liturgical—then get ready to share your choreography with other participants. Freddie Moore, who was trained by The Ailey School and now serves as founder and artistic director at Footprints Dance Company, will teach modern. Theara J. Ward will teach liturgical, she’s a writer, actor, dancer plus choreographer and teacher at Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet in Brooklyn. And Anthony Solo Harris will share with us the Jersey Club dance, a street dance style he helped cultivate. Anthony is a member of the legendary ENVY dance group from Newark.
