Officers and Staff
New ways of being the church require new ways of thinking about leadership. The Presbytery of Northeast New Jersey believes effective leaders are imaginative, adaptable and open to change, self-aware and emotionally mature, collaborative and relational, community-builders, and faithful risk-takers.
In our efforts to raise up new leaders we will prioritize relational and emotional intelligence, and adaptive capacity over administrative technical proficiency. Coaching, servant leadership, and resourcing have become the most essential roles as we work together to train, nurture, and resource people at all levels – commissioned, ordained, paid, and volunteer.
