Rev. Dan Martian, Presbytery Co-Moderator

The Rev. Daniel Martian began his pastorate at the Presbyterian Church of Livingston in 2005. His previous pastorates were in Yakima, Washington, North Haledon, New Jersey, and in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Dan has served the former Presbytery of Newark in the capacity of COM moderator, committee member on the Candidate's Preparation for Ministry, and co-moderator of the presbytery.  Dan is now co-moderator of our Presbytery and sits on the Vision Team. 

In his ministry in Livingston, he is the producer and host of Clergy Corner, which airs Livingston local access channel.   He is one of five police chaplains for the Livingston Police Department and volunteers for the on-call chaplain at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.  Dan is also a certified mediator with skills in conflict management. He is also undertaking training in psychotherapy at the Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis of New Jersey.

In his spare time dan swims, walks, plays guitar, likes Broadway shows, and dabbles in photography. He enjoys biking (the pedal kind), traveling, and mission work.
